Now I feel silly for not trying for any of this before! We had a bunch of fun today out in Labadee! I’ll back up briefly to last night, where dinner out turned into Wine and Tapas at Vintages. After the shows, I got dressed up and we went to Central Park where the wine place is. The plan was to meet up with a few friends, but they never showed up, so we just sat and enjoyed our evening. Amy went to bed early once Karaoke started, but that’s ok… Long days still to come…

So today, we got up bright and early, hit the docks and got to take a tour on jet-skis! Wow! Those things are a blast and a half! The speed and the water and everything, so much fun! The water there is lovely and after getting used to the handling, we were just having a blast out there!

Got back from that, and went straight around the island to the kayak adventure. Much more leisurely and a lot more work, but still enjoyable. We went around the bay to talk about the local culture and the history, as well as a quick stop at a local flea market kind of place. After paddling back to the shore, Amy got to live one of her dreams of sipping a  Pina Colada in a hammock. It wasn’t EXACTLY the right drink, but very close and the hammock was relaxing for awhile.

Finally we headed back to the ship to shower and change so we could see a gemstone seminar. I had to work a show shortly after, then we took a small nap so we were rested for the evening. Dinner turned into snacks, but we made it to Love and Marriage, which is always good for a few laughs! After that, I had Karaoke, then we both went out to some late night dance parties and met a few of my friends from the shows.

I eventually had to strike one of those parties and by the time I finished, we needed some sleep, so back to bed and rest up for Jamaica. A 5 hour tour of local caves and a waterfall should prove interesting, then probably a quick shopping trip and we’ll see where the day goes from there…
