6 weeks… I have 6 weeks left to finish my current goals of Scuba Certification and promotion to Light Tech… It’s all come down to the next few weeks and it’s starting to feel like crunch time. I’ll back up, but there’s not a lot to say… The last two days were pretty normal sea days with CFWM tech and shows, only one Splish Splash, a parade, and basically getting very little useful done…

I don’t really know where my life is going right now, but I do know this. I’ll be taking my first pool dive on Monday, hopefully Tuesday I’ll have some time to work on Light Tech, then things should go from there. Time is tight, the work isn’t easy and I’m back to being on duty this week even though we’re well staffed… I’m not the “swinger” or “extra” for now, so it’s back to life in the Opal (ish)…

I’ll have more info as the week goes on, and hopefully within a few weeks I’ll have a better idea of what I’ll be doing for the next few months… I’ve had my hiccups and roadblocks here and I just have to keep pushing and working around them… It’s not easy, but nothing ever is in life… I do have some advantages right now, I just hope they’re enough to keep things good…

If this doesn’t seem like my usual style, it’s cause I’m not in a usual mood. My brain is barely functioning right now, so we’ll see if a non-karaoke schedule helps… I know making progress will help, but I just have to make that progress and not let it get me down in the meantime… Sigh… Here we go round again, so who knows what will happen this week…
