Well, due to being thoroughly unable to sleep once I woke up this morning, I have a few minutes for a final update before I get going. As of 7am today, I’ll be on my way to the ship. I’ll probably be aboard around 9am, then a busy day of… well, who knows what, but probably orientation and getting ready cause at 5pm this afternoon, we set sail for our first stop of the cruise. So as I sit here in the airport, thinking about what I’m doing here, it really starts to hit me how long I’ll be away from everyone I know. I’ll have to make new friends, keep in touch as best I can. I’ll be keeping in touch about once a week on the weekends whenever i dock in Florida and have cell service and internet access. I will have the option to pay for internet aboard the ship, but I won’t be doing that very often.
